Welcome to the Powder Keg HOG web site.

  We are HOG Chapter 2713 based out of Powder Keg Harley-Davidson in Mason Ohio (Kings Island area). We are a group of individuals that have a common interest in Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, the Motor Company and enjoy sharing our time together. Most of our activities are centered on the HOG motto of “RIDE & HAVE FUN!”, but we do get together on a regular basis even when the weather will not allow us to ride.

 We have several types of rides during the year: Half & full day rides, overnight & multi-day rides, dinner rides and even a few impromptu & surprise rides. And of course our “sweet treat” rides after the meetings during the riding season. During the season we have rides schedules approx. 3 out of every 4 weekends so we can accommodate our members. Some of our overnight rides in the past have included, Tail of the Dragon area in North Carolina, Natural Bridge Ky., Nashville In., and West Virginia. This year we’ve planned to go back to few (Tail of the Dragon, Natural Bridge) and some new ones, like the Ohio Tail of the Dragon (3 day), Cumberland Falls (2 day) and Hocking Hills (2 day). Most of our day rides take place in the Tri-State area any where we can find more curves and straights. Our half day rides are about 4-6 hrs total length and the full day rides are usually in the 6-10 hr. range. All our rides scheduled rides have been pre-ridden by some of our Road Captains and full descriptions, sometimes including GPS files are available to our members on the website.
